The main difference
Dext’s price is linked to the number of documents processed each month. Billfetch plans are priced by businesses and connected sources, and Billfetch also gathers the documents from your inbox, bank and sales channels and matches them to payments before the month is handed to your accountant.
How Billfetch works
- Collects documents for you: a forwarding address, Gmail and Outlook inboxes, uploads and photos sent on Telegram
- Connects to banks, payment providers and marketplaces, and imports bank CSV statements
- Matches each payment to its invoice and lists what is still missing
- Prepares a monthly package with import files for Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent, or pushes records straight to FreeAgent and QuickBooks
- Converts foreign-currency records with HMRC monthly exchange rates
- Plans are priced by the number of businesses and connected sources, not per document
Billfetch’s current prices are on the pricing page.
Where Billfetch may not fit
- Billfetch has no native mobile app: you send photos through Telegram or upload them in the browser.
- Billfetch does not send data to Xero directly; it prepares Xero import files instead.
- Billfetch is built for UK businesses (GBP, HMRC, Companies House).
