These terms apply to your use of Billfetch, a service operated by DevCode Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The service
Billfetch collects financial records and documents from the sources you connect, helps you categorise and reconcile them, and prepares packages for your accountant. Billfetch is not accounting or bookkeeping software, does not file returns with HMRC or Companies House, and does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice. Decisions about your tax and accounts remain yours and your accountant’s.
2. Your account
- Keep your login and two-factor authentication secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Only connect sources and upload documents you are entitled to use.
- Check the records Billfetch prepares before relying on them. Information read automatically from documents can contain errors.
3. Connected services
Integrations with third parties (for example banks, marketplaces, mailboxes and Companies House) depend on those services and their terms. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or changes to their APIs.
4. Fees
Any fees and billing terms are shown before you subscribe. During testing the service may be provided free of charge and without guarantees.
5. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Billfetch available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice of material changes.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from decisions made using the service without professional review. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Ending your use
You can stop using Billfetch and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service or break these terms.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
